Introduction to RTO Registration
Understand the national VET system, the VET Quality Framework, and ASQA’s role in approving and monitoring new RTOs.

Application & Regulatory Requirements
Navigate the ASQA initial registration process, including legal entity set-up, Fit and Proper Person declarations, and the Financial Viability Risk Assessment.

Student-Centred Compliance
Plan the learner journey—from pre-enrolment through assessment and certification—while meeting all support, privacy and record-keeping obligations.

Training & Assessment Systems
Develop Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), select a compliant Student Management System (SMS), and set up validation, moderation and continuous-improvement processes.

Workforce & Governance
Recruit and manage qualified trainers and assessors, maintain industry and VET currency, and build a culture of risk management and continuous improvement.
